A job Interview Is No Time To Improvise
Have you ever walked into an interview thinking, "I sure hope he or she doesn"t ask me about you-know-who and/or you-know-what"? If you have, then you"ve also certainly spent many anxious moments before, during, and after the interview worrying about the same. Imagine how much more confident you would feel if you walked into the same interview thinking, "I sure hope he or she asks me about you-know-who and/or you-know-what, because I"ll be ready."Then don"t just imagine it, make it happen. Do your homework. There is a wealth of information out there available to the job seeker to help them prepare for interviews. Use it! Have answers ready to the questions you don"t want to be asked, and before you know it, you"ll want to be asked those questions.
And then practice your answers. Practice early and practice often ð€“ don"t want until the night before your interview. Practice speaking aloud, and rehearse your answers until they flow naturally. Practice rehearsing your answers to make them sound un-rehearsed.
Turn the tables on dreading difficult interview questions by having good answers ready. It is the job of the interviewer to expose your weaknesses; don"t make his job easy for him.
