The Resume is the tool that will help you market yourself. Now you know that you are competing with others; regardless of what job you are aiming to get. Now how does a prospective employer figure out what your abilities are or special talents are? Your resume template precedes you; it is what makes that all important first impression on an employer, before you even meet them. A resume template gives you a bit of a leg up to set you apart from other applicants who havenò€™t bothered with a resume and are hoping to be able to get a foot in the door without one. Even when auditioning for a part in a play or an extra in a movie, it makes sense to create a resume.
